Andy Wadsworth – Director & Founder of MyLife Personal Training

 

Professional, experienced and skilled, Andy Wadsworth is the Director and Founder of MyLife Personal Training. Andy has 15 years working to the highest level as a professional coach and personal trainer, and his reputation for getting results has drawn athletes from around the world to work with him.

He loves the challenge of training people for different events, with a particular focus on endurance. With numerous qualifications and up-to-the-minute knowledge, Andy can work with you to ensure you not only realise your physical potential, but also gain the mental fitness and the drive to succeed you need.

His numerous clients have competed in races such as the Marathon de Sables, a horse race across Mongolia, the Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon World Championships, the Xterra Triathlon World Championships, World Cup and Commonwealth cross-country mountain bike events and Olympic road cycling races.

With an Honours Degree in Sport & Human Movement Science, he has over 15,000 hours of personal one-to-one training experience, and has worked with hundreds of clients, including European Tour professional golfer Chris Wood, World Champion Downhill mountain biker Danny Hart, World Champion 4X bike racer Katy Curd, Olympic Mountain bikers Oli Beckingsale and Liam Killeen, up and coming X-country rider Grant Fergusen and Downhill rider Laurie Greenland.

Andy has also authored a number of books on sport, exercise and nutrition, including The Complete Encyclopedia of Personal Fitness Training, and regularly contributes to the BBC, Men’s Health magazine, What Mountain Bike, Mens Fitness, Outdoor Fitness and 220 Triathlon magazine.

He has himself competed in numerous events as a professional athlete, including World Cup Cross Country mountain bike races, and took the Amateur Xterra Triathlon World Champion title in 2002.

Personal and Online Training

If you would like to benefit from Andy’s expertise, personal sessions with Andy are available with an initial consultation at £80 and subsequent sessions at £60.

Andy is also able to work with clients from around the world through online training. The internet makes providing personalized and individual support easier. Endurance athletes, cyclists, triathletes, runners and those competing in endurance challenges have all benefitted from online training support with Andy and the MyLife team.

Andy is able to provide online training advice and support starting from £160 per month, including a daily training plan, nutrition advice and guidance, and tailored event preparation.
